At the beginning and the end of the day, cyber security is the existential risk to the enterprise in a globalized digital economy and this makes it a top agenda item for corporate Boards.  The challenge of course is that cyber is an inherently complex domain and few Boards have the requisite technical expertise in place to navigate the technology, governance, risk and business process tradeoffs inherent in functioning cyber security practices and policies.  That's beginning to change as cyber experts are increasingly in demand for service on corporate Boards.  But is the change coming FAST ENOUGH?
