COVID-19 Expands the Cyber Threat Surface (from Security Magazine)
The FBI recently reported that the number of attack complaints in their Cyber Division has reached as many as 4,000 a day – a 400% increase from what it was seeing pre-COVID-19. Meanwhile, a study by CrowdStrike, a Silicon Valley cybersecurity vendor, showed more intrusion attempts on corporate networks in the first six months of 2020 than in all of 2019.
