Silicon Valley has long been considered the "Golden Child" of the US economy, free from extensive government oversight or regulation.  That's about to change.  While Big Tech's concentrated power in the markets is worthy of scrutiny, there is a real risk of unintended consequences as politicians and regulators look to oversee industries they fundamentally don't understand.
